StephanieStephanie Sigman, a Mexican-American actress. Her breakout role was in Miss Bala (2011), a Mexican crime-drama film. The film also featured her in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). On television, Sigman starred in Narcos (2015) and S.W.A.T (2017) for the first and second seasons of both shows. Sigman was the daughter of a Mexican mother, and an American father, Lee Sigman (a New York Yankees Scout from Kansas) and Lee Sigman, who were both born in Ciudad Obregon. She is a citizen of the United States by virtue of her father. The brother of her was a professional the baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was formerly married to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career appearing on Mexican TV before making her film debut in Rio de Oro. In 2011 she played the lead part of Laura Guerrero in the Mexican crime drama film, Miss Bala. The film was picked as the Mexican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscar Awards, but it was not on the shortlist. (9) Sigman was awarded a Dublin Film Critics Circle Award for her work as film critic in 2011. [10][11] She starred in the Canadian documentary, Flight of the Butterflies the following year. In 2013, Sigman starred with Pioneer the film, which was a Norwegian thriller.
