Paula Patton, an American actress and producer is best recognized for her performances as the lead character in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol (an action spy thriller) and Precious (a drama). The majority of her childhood was spent in Los Angeles where she came from a family of middle-class. She was raised by her mother who loved to watch films. Paula took part in numerous co-curricular activities in school, but she had an interest in drama. Paula loved playing the role of an actor with her classmates and took part in the school's stage productions. She performed in numerous performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to pursue acting as a career. She enrolled at the University of Southern California in the summer program, and loved her time there. She was offered a contract for three months to produce documentaries on PBS. Though she loved her job however, she longed for being an actor. In the romantic comedy Hitch she played a small role alongside Will Smith.
