Zoe Saldana is the child of Asalia Saldana and Aridio Nazario. She was born in Passaic (New Jersey) on June 19th, 1978. Her father was Dominican as was her mother, while her father is Puerto Rican. Her mother is Puerto Rican as is her father, Dominican. In 2010, she relocated together with her family members to the Dominican Republic where they spent for the next seven years. Zoe noticed a strong interest in performing dances while being abroad. She started training in the ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy to learn ballet, and a variety of other dance styles. Deutch as well as Silberman have previously collaborated on the Netflix hit, Set It Up (2018).
