Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood, she is an American comedian and television host best known as the hosts on The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Born in Arkansas she was raised by her parents in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from a troubled family. She spent the majority of her youth looking after her sick sister Frankie. As a teenager, she had many problems with her mother. Sheryl asserts that in one instance her mother stabbed her father because he was being too close with her. Sheryl became a military officer after graduating from university. However her interest lay in comedy. In 1989, she was the first woman to reach the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She began her TV career in 1992 when she was a regular participant for the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of the TV series Oh Drama! She's been host on The Talk since 2011. In addition she has also performed fictional roles on television shows such as Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
