Taylor

Taylor Swift has become a unique pop star: a star who strayed completely from the world of country music to pop culture, becoming an iconic pop star that is set to last forever and conquering everywhere. Swift left country music like it was a second layer of herself, proving that she's possibly the smartest pop-singer/songwriter her generation. One who can harness the zeitgeist to make it personal and also perform in the opposite. Her talents could be seen in the first songs she released, most notably the Neodue Tim McGraw. But on her sophomore album Fearless that came out in 2008, she was able to discover who she is and find an audience that was large. Fearless was successful not only in the United States, having six platinum-certified singles. The Top Ten songs Love Story & the hit song You Belong with Me were the main reasons for this. However, it did exceptionally well throughout the world. The Swift's Speak Now album released two years ago was a continuation of her earlier popularity and launched her into superstardom. In the three subsequent albums the three albums that followed -- Red 2012, 1989 2014 along with Reputation 2017. Swift's popularity only increased. This was a sure sign she had moved to the new music scene where she fit in. However, even when she reduced her strategy with 2020's stripped down sibling releases folklore and Evermore she was still atop the charts, a place she maintained with re-recordings of her back catalog along with Midnights her chart-topping synth-heavy 2022 set.
