Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father is an Argentine who is of Scottish as well as English descent. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish and English. The Taylor-Joy family was a clan that included six children. Four are her siblings of the marriage that she had with Taylor's father. The family lived at Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria part in London. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was very traumatic. She was not willing to study English and believed she would be able to return to Argentina. Hill House, a school in the same district as Northlands was obligated to accept her. Later she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. After 16 she quit school in order to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an actor began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model to hire her as a professional model.
